On noisy or poor voice traffic some were unintelligible on the SDS100, the IC-R30 still had impressive clear audio. These are listed here as well. I spent about 5 hours with my buddy Dodge Rice (DodgeTheMachinist) learning how to place the inset SDS100, or whatever inlaid text on the sides. I used the website www.tinkercad.com to edit the original .stl file. It was a fun learning process. Dodge is a great machinist as well as a 3d print designer.SDS100 DMR & NXDN upgrades. When I stop the SDS100 on the exact same frequency that the TRX-1 is decoding, programmed as a DMR freq., it doesn't even make a hit on the signal bar. SDS100 is a good radio if you can find one available, the SDS radios are the only consumer scanners that are successful with simulcast Distortion secondary to LSM. If you type a lower-case ASCII charactor from a limited set (dhlmoqrwz), several lines of formatted ASCII numbers are sent from the scanner. This looks like engineering debugging output rather than a customer feature. The sub-processor appears to be a NXP LPC4370. If this test still has the "Low Voltage" problem then try using the Mini-USB cable and power USB power supply that came with the SDS100 (without the GPS). If that works, then there may be a problem with the Uniden BC-UTGC cable. If this test still has the problem then there may be something wrong with the SDS100 itself.Apr 24, 2023 · SDS100.
