Received 26 Likes on 22 Posts. Swapped both trucks to Chevy LT1s with T56 6 speeds. One 350 one 383. Install is the same for any engine, set in place keeping in mind clearances at the cab, steering, exhaust, radiator, and drive line angle. Once all is good with that make up the engine and trans mounts.

As far as crate 4.0 i think the best you will be able to do is a rebuilt long block. Plus you could stay true to your old gear head form and go carbed which is a very easy install in these trucks.
